Conversations in and out of the Disciplines - 'Learning with the Body and Mind: Kinesthetic Methods and Brain Development' - October 20

The fall 2017 Conversations in and out of the Disciplines series begins Friday, October 20, when Joy Guarino, associate professor of theater, presents "Learning with the Body and Mind: Kinesthetic Methods and Brain Development" at 3:00 p.m. in Ketchum Hall 320. A short wine and cheese reception will follow the talk. Everyone is welcome.

Please also mark your calendars for the second talk of the fall semester: Mark Warford, associate professor and chair of the Modern and Classical Languages Department, will present “Translation of Innovations” on Friday, November 3.

Stay tuned for more information about our upcoming talks in spring 2018, which will include presentations by Steve Peraza, assistant professor of history and social studies education, and Daniel DiLandro, head of archives and special collections in Butler Library.
