Accessibility Tip: Making Library Articles Available for Students

Many faculty members capture library database articles and save them as PDFs, upload them to Blackboard or another course web site, and ask students to use them. While PDFs are accessible, they don’t always retain all the accessibility traits that are necessary and included in the original document.

By using a persistent link, you allow your students to go right to the article in the library database, where the article is fully accessible. Please review the instructions on how to create persistent links to library database articles.
