Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration: 'The Story behind the Story: A Latina in Broadcast Journalism' - October 12

The Equity and Campus Diversity Office invites the campus community to attend the annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration, “The Story behind the Story: A Latina in Broadcast Journalism,” presented by Samantha Martinez, host of Sin Fronteras WNY, on Thursday, October 12, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Bulger Communication Center West.

Sin Fronteras WNY/Beyond Borders WNY is a media platform for acculturated Hispanics in Western New York that airs on WUFO-FM 96.5. Stories target bicultural Western New York residents with cultural ties to Latin America. Ms. Martinez is also a proud member of the Hispanic Heritage Council of Western New York's board of directors.

Please join us to celebrate Buffalo State’s community as we recognize the contributions of Latinas in the broadcast journalism industry.

Please see the flier on the Equity and Campus Diversity website for more information.
