Cooking in Caudell Studio: October 11

Cooking with Chef Don is back at the beautiful new culinary studio in Caudell Hall on Wednesday, October 11, at 4:00 p.m. Please join the Hospitality and Tourism Department's chef and certified culinary educator, Don Schmitter, as he demonstrates techniques and recipes for everyone on campus. This event will be recorded live, and attendees can ask questions and sample food for a small fee. The first session will be vegetable crepes—one vegan and one traditional—stuffed with seasonal vegetable compotes and finished with a creamy goat cheese sauce and Vidalia onion puree (vegan). This initial session is free and open to the campus community (future sessions will be $20). Please join Chef Don and learn some cooking tips while getting a tasty sample! Make reservations through Debbie Daniels, secretary 1, 878-5913. Only 20 spots are available, so reserve yours today.
