Hope Dunbar, archivist in Butler Library's Archives and Special Collections, successfully passed the Academy of Certified Archivists exam, earning her certification in the archival field. The academy recognizes roughly 1,500 certified archivists throughout the United States and Canada. Additionally, Daniel DiLandro, head of Archives and Special Collections, was successfully recertified through the academy this summer. Buffalo State's Archives and Special Collections is one of the few educational institutions with two certified archivists on staff to assist students, faculty, and community members in accessing and using the wide variety of primary source historical documents available on campus.
