Lynn Boorady, professor and chair of the Fashion and Textile Technology Department, has been elected vice president of operations for the International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA) Council. ITAA is an international professional organization made up of textile and apparel professors. The ITAA Council serves as the governing board for the organization. As vice president of operations, Dr. Boorady is directly responsible for five committees: Membership, Faculty Fellowships and Awards, Student Fellowships and Awards, Design Awards, and Public Relations.
