No matter how far along you are in your career, careful financial and retirement planning are critical. The New York State Teachers' Retirement System (NYSTRS) will offer two fall 2015 financial planning seminars on Friday, November 6, and Friday, December 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Millennium Airport Hotel, 2040 Walden Avenue, Cheektowaga, NY 14225. The Buffalo Pension and Retirement Education Program (PREP) seminars will focus on NYSTRS benefits, financial planning, Social Security, estate planning, retirement, filing for retirement, and retirement income. A NYSTRS PREP seminar can help members of all ages. Seminars are free, and spouses and partners are welcome. Please note: These seminars are not designed for one-on-one retirement counseling, but benefits consultations are available year-round.
