Beyond Boundaries: Dare to Be Diverse Film Series
Out in the Night
Out in the Night examines the sensational case of a group of African American lesbians who were violently threatened, fought back, and were later charged with gang assault and attempted murder. The documentary reveals the role that race, gender identity, and sexuality play in the criminal justice system. Directed and produced by Blair Dorosh-Walthe, Giovanna Chesler, Mridu Chandra, and Yoruba Richen
