Today: Webinar - 'Service-Learning Course Design to Facilitate Intercultural Learning and Support Internationalization'

Please join the Civic and Community Engagement Office today, February 26, for the webinar "Service-Learning Course Design to Facilitate Intercultural Learning and Support Internationalization," presented by Julie A. Hatcher and Mary F. Price of the IUPUI Center for Service and Learning, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Carmine A. Grande Conference Room, Cleveland Hall 418. Please e-mail us to let us know if you're coming.

Preparing graduates with civic and global competencies is of keen importance to colleges and universities across the globe. Strategic use of service learning (SL) and international service learning (ISL) pedagogy can integrate learning outcomes that link global and civic learning through the lens of intercultural competence and critical global citizenship. This webinar will provide an overview of good practice and evidence of student outcomes, and introduce practical strategies for integrating service learning as part of a campus internationalization plan. This event is free to faculty, staff, students, advisers, and administrators and is sponsored by the CEPA Foundation.
