Tell Students: AFP Presents Mirror/Rorrim - October 15

Mirror/Rorrim, the latest original play created by Buffalo State and Anne Frank Project students, will be presented on Thursday, October 15, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Savage Theater.

Following their trip to Rwanda in January 2015, 12 students processed their experience through the creation of a new play inspired in Rwanda, developed at Buffalo State, and delivered to local Buffalo schools in fall 2015. Mirror/Rorrim follows Anna, a teenage girl who is filled with self-hate and personal judgment, as she is pulled into a fantastic journey that reveals her inner secrets and leads her to learn to love her own story. The 30-minute performance will be followed by a 40-minute workshop activating the lessons of the play.

This is not a ticketed event. Arrive early to get a seat.

Faculty and staff members who offer extra credit to students for attending Mirror/Rorrim may send a sign-in sheet to Eve Everette, assistant director of the Anne Frank Project.
