Tell Students: Oral History and Storytelling Workshop - April 11

An Oral History and Storytelling Workshop, Part I of the "Addressing Othering with Oral History and Storytelling" event series, will be held on Tuesday, April 11, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Science and Mathematics Complex 170.

Learn tips for conducting good oral history interviews, and the strengths and weaknesses of oral history interviews given the ever-shifting remembrances of history. Develop oral histories into stories with a message, and examine how stories play an integral part in building relationships and empathy. Contact Eve Everette, assistant director of the Anne Frank Project, or Heather Gring, archivist at the Burchfield Penney Art Center, to record your stories.

Open to students, faculty, and staff.

For more information, please visit the Anne Frank Project's People Power page.

The "Addressing Othering with Oral History and Storytelling" event series is sponsored by Buffalo State's Equity and Campus Diversity Minigrant Program, the Anne Frank Project, and the Burchfield Penney Art Center.
