Webinar: Homeless and Food-Insecure Students - September 10

The Student Success Office, Weigel Health Center, and the Counseling Center will sponsor the webinar "Homeless and Food-Insecure Students" on Thursday, September 10, at 2:00 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union Assembly Hall.

The numbers of homeless and food-insecure students on college campuses are increasing. Services and support for these students is essential to ensuring their retention and success.

Join us for an exploration of trends, tools, and action steps from the National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth. Our expert presenters will share an overview of federal resources and requirements, models of successful campus and community initiatives, and policies required to provide adequate, necessary support for all. RSVP to studentsuccess@buffalostate.edu.

Students with concerns about access to food can obtain help through Buffalo State's food pantry. Information about the food pantry is available on the Weigel Health Center's website.
