Student Spotlight

Moot Court students Makai, Allen, and Juliana

Please congratulate (from left) Makai Burks, Allen Greer, and Juliana Lainez on their successful participation in the Ohio Northern University Moot Court Tournament this past weekend. Our three student counselors presented appellate arguments concerning the extent of Congress's power in relation to the interstate commerce clause and restrictions of government action in relation to an individual's due process rights as guaranteed by the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Their Moot Court season will continue this upcoming weekend as they will be competing in the Yale University Undergraduate Moot Court Tournament. Please wish them the best of luck!

Please contact Peter Yacobucci, associate professor of political science and public administration, with questions.
