Student Spotlight

Students in Brent Patterson’s DES 379 Motion Design I class are currently producing projects specifically made for the new Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium. Their work will be exhibited in the planetarium on Wednesday, April 27, at noon. This screenshot shows a work in progress by student Crystal Plourde.

DES 379 is offered every spring semester, followed by DES 479 Motion Design II in the fall. Patterson, an associate professor of art and design, also offers courses on 3D animation, game design, web design, and other digital media courses.
