Jodelle Magner, Associate Professor, Mathematics

Jodelle Magner, associate professor of mathematics, was appointed to the Association of Mathematics Teachers of New York State (AMTNYS) 2019–2020 Executive Board as the college-level representative during the organization's 68th annual fall conference, held in Saratoga Springs, New York, November 2 and 3. AMTNYS was founded in 1951 and currently has about 2,100 members statewide. Members of AMTNYS include teachers at the elementary, middle, secondary, and college levels as well as others interested in mathematics and mathematics education.

Dr. Magner also facilitated the college-level meeting at the annual conference of AMTNYS in Saratoga Springs on November 2. College faculty members from across the state came together to discuss current issues and trends affecting college-level students and the teaching of mathematics throughout the state.
