Zhang Jie, professor of sociology and director of the Center for China Studies, published his paper "Suicide Acceptability and Suicide Attempt: A Case-Control Study with Medically Serious Suicide Attempters Aged 15 to 54 Years in Rural China," coauthored with Sun Long, in the Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease 206 (9): 694–698. Dr. Sun was a visiting scholar at Buffalo State in 2014–2015.
