BADD (Bengals Against Drunk Driving) Awareness Activities: October 26

Buffalo State is continuing the tradition of raising awareness on the important issue of drinking and driving this week with Bengals Against Drunk Driving (BADD), conducted in partnership with National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week.

Stop by the BOW Lounge (Bengals on Wellness) outside the Barnes & Noble at Buffalo State Bookstore tomorrow, October 26, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and speak with a member of Alcoholics Anonymous or chat with a UPD officer who will be performing field sobriety tests with “drunk goggles” simulations.

See a video from 2012 of students pledging to not drink and drive.

See other public service announcements created by Buffalo State students.

Please encourage students to attend to build their résumé or for extra credit. The flier and information about other upcoming events can be found on social media or the Health Promotion website.

Please contact Paula Madrigal, assistant director of prevention and health promotion, with questions.
