The Buffalo State Chapter of Best Buddies and the Buffalo State football team will cohost the second annual Best Buddies Flag Football Showdown on Sunday, May 6, at 2:00 p.m. at Coyer Field. Our mission for the event is to highlight inclusion and diversity on our college campus and to appreciate the abilities of all. The Buffalo State football team will serve as our mentors in a modified game of flag football so that everyone can play! We are looking for people of all abilities to join our team. Please call Autumn at (716) 860-8746 and bring your friends and family to play or watch and enjoy a fun event.
There is no charge for this event. We welcome donations at the gate and will be selling refreshments at a concession stand for $1. All proceeds will benefit Western New York Best Buddies to assist them in opening new chapters and encouraging inclusive programs for people with intellectual disabilities.
