Alternative Break: Valentine's Day Fundraiser - February 14

Please stop by and support the Civic and Community Engagement’s Alternative Break program on Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, February 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Classroom Building lobby. The student leadership team will be fundraising with wrapped flowers bouquets from Maureen’s Buffalo Wholesale Flower Market and chocolate bars from Fowler’s. This fundraiser will help the team minimize student fees for participation in a spring or summer break service trip. While you help the team reach their fundraising goal, you can also support local businesses. Wrapped flower bouquets can be purchased at $2 apiece, three for $5, or seven for $10. Chocolate bars are $1 each.

If you are unable to stop by our table, please e-mail alternativebreak@buffalostate.edu and a member of the team will make a special visit to your office with your flower or chocolate order.

Thank you for supporting a community engagement program that results in 97 percent of participants reporting that the experience motivates them to learn more about social issues in their community and where 94 percent feel more connected to the Buffalo State campus.
