The Student Leadership and Engagement Office is proud to celebrate First-Generation Week, a time to recognize the achievements, resilience, and success of our first-generation students, alumni, faculty, and staff.

As part of the week's celebration, in collaboration with Alumni and CAPE, we are hosting First-Gen Forward on Wednesday, November 4, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union Assembly Hall.

We are currently seeking first-generation Buffalo State alumni and professionals who are interested in attending the event to network with our current first-generation students.

This is an opportunity to share your educational and professional journey, offer advice and encouragement, and help students build meaningful connections as they navigate their own paths. Whether you graduated recently or many years ago, your story has the power to inspire the next generation of Bengals.
