CCE Student Civic Leadership Board Tuesday Service Projects

Join the Civic and Community Engagement’s Student Civic Leadership Board for Tuesday Service Projects every other Tuesday throughout the semester from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Twin Rise–South Wing breezeway. RSVPs are appreciated.

February 12 and 26 | Because Char Smiled: Paper Flowers for Cancer Patients
February is National Cancer Prevention Month, and to help raise awareness, we will make paper flowers to give to patients at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Fresh flowers pose a health risk to certain cancer patients, but beautiful paper flowers will help brighten their days.

March 12 and April 2 | None Like You/We Care: Homemade Laundry Soap
Did you know that you can make laundry soap with a few household ingredients? None Like You/We Care helps bring human services and basic essentials like this laundry soap to low-income seniors and families.

April 16 and 30 | Matt Urban Hope Center: Rags to Bags Project
Help turn a T-shirt into a shopping bag! Matt Urban’s “Rags to Bags” project provides environmentally friendly, reusable T-shirt bags to individuals and families to fill up with items from the center’s food pantry.
