The Small Business Development Center at Buffalo State will hold a free Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) workshop on Thursday, June 20, from 9:00 a.m. to noon in the Burchfield Penney Art Center for innovative entrepreneurs, tech entrepreneurs, faculty members, researchers, and graduate students looking to commercialize their research.
Through the SBIR/STTR program, federal agencies including the Department of Defense, the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, and the Department of Energy provide grants and contracts to small businesses to conduct innovative research and development with strong commercialization potential. To register for the workshop, please e-mail Susan McCartney, director of the SBDC.
