The Buffalo State community is saddened by the death of Richard J. Foster, professor emeritus of geology, who died March 22, 2019. Mr. Foster joined the college in 1965 and retired in 1995. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, and three children. A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, in Larson-Timko Funeral Home, 20 Central Ave., Fredonia, NY 14063.
