A paper by Joseph Cleary, assistant professor of sociology, titled “A Suburban Funeral” (Journal of Autoethnography, 3 (3): 283–303), won Honorable Mention for the International Association of Autoethnography and Narrative Inquiry’s (IAANI) 2023 Outstanding Journal Article Award. The award will be recognized at the IAANI’s 2023 International Symposium (PDF, 1.7 MB), held January 3–5.
