Gerald Mead, Lecturer, Art and Design

Gerald Mead, lecturer in the Art and Design Department, has been appointed to the Niagara University Board of Advisors, a national board that acts in an advisory capacity to the board of trustees and the president of the university. The board of advisors provides strategic counsel to aid the university in fulfilling its vision while identifying with its historical Vincentian mission and Catholic charter. Mr Mead's artwork was on view at SLOW Galerie in Paris (June 28–29) and at The Other Art Fair, presented by Saatchi Art in London (July 4–7), as part of the Tiny Sketchbook Project organized by the Brooklyn Art Library. He was also commissioned to write an essay on the work of painter and performance artist Xiao Yang for the University at Buffalo’s Department of Art 2019 MFA Catalog.
