Public Service Recognition Week Conference: April 30

The Buffalo State College Political Science and Public Administration Department is honored to host this year’s annual Public Service Recognition Week Conference on Saturday, April 30, in the LoRusso Alumni and Visitor Center. 

Alasdair Roberts, professor and director of the School of Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, will deliver the opening keynote, “Standing Up for Human Rights,” from 11:00 a.m. to noon in the LoRusso Alumni and Visitor Center’s Alumni Conference Room.

Carolyn Dudek, professor and chair of the Department of Political Science and director of the European studies program at Hofstra University, will deliver the closing keynote, “Can the European Union Live Up to Its Democratic Ideals? Combatting Anti-Semitism in Europe,” from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. in the LoRusso Alumni and Visitor Center’s Costello Hall.

The PSRW conference is sponsored by the Buffalo State Political Science and Public Administration Department and the Buffalo-Niagara Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration.
