'Race, Class, and the City: A Climate Change, Environmental Justice, and Housing Panel' - November 12

Please join us for "Race, Class, and the City: A Climate Change, Environmental Justice, and Housing Panel" on Thursday, November 12, during Bengal Pause (12:15–1:30 p.m.) via Blackboard Collaborate.

Long-standing racial and economic inequalities in the American housing system stand to be amplified by the impacts of global climate change. This session will explore questions of housing and climate justice, with a focus on the historical conditions, challenges, and opportunities in Buffalo.

Panelists are Camille Holmgren, chair and professor of geography and planning; Jason Knight, associate professor of geography and planning; and Eric Walker, community activist and cofounder of PUSH Buffalo and PUSH Green.

Everyone is welcome. Please join us through Blackboard Collaborate Ultra.
