Reminder: Quarantine Requirements for Travelers Returning from Restricted States

Please be reminded of Governor Cuomo's Executive Order 205, issued June 24, 2020, which requires individuals to quarantine for 14 days after traveling for 24 hours or longer to any state that has a positive test rate for COVID-19 of higher than 10 per 100,000 residents, or higher than a 10 percent positivity rate over a seven-day rolling average.

The Department of Health maintains a list of the specific states for which quarantine is required following travel for 24 hours or longer.

If traveling to a state in which the mandatory quarantine period has been identified prior to departure, or if traveling to a state that is added to the list while you are visiting and now requires mandatory quarantine upon return, please call Human Resource Management before returning to work at 878-3042 or e-mail Jamie Warnes, officer in charge of Human Resource Management. Thank you.
