SUNY Virtual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Discussion Forum: October 15-November 20

Buffalo State College staff members, especially those who interact often with students, are invited to participate in the SUNY Virtual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Discussion Forum, which will take place from October 15 to November 20.

The goal of the program is to give SUNY staff members an opportunity to discuss diversity, equity, and inclusion issues in higher education in a supportive environment to help them create the inclusive mindset and competencies they need to serve a diverse population of students and others on their campuses. The forum will take place over five weeks and will feature a mix of asynchronous (not in real time) online discussions on Workplace as well as webinars in Zoom.

Sign in to Workplace using your Buffalo State username and password. Those who sign up will be added to the Workplace group but are not obligated to participate. If the fall discussion forum is a success, it will be continued in spring 2021.

Please register online and contact Christopher Price, academic programs manager, SUNY Center for Professional Development, with questions.
