Tell Students: Alternative Break Information Sessions: February 4, 6

Please join the Civic and Community Engagement Office to learn more about this semester's three alternative break service trips and how you can get involved during an information session on Tuesday, February 4, or Thursday, February 6, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Classroom Building B106. Each weeklong alternative break trip experience focuses on a particular social justice issue that you'll learn more about through hands-on projects with nonprofit community organizations. Throughout the experience, you'll gain leadership skills, take action, and make a difference alongside a team of 10 other Buffalo State College students.

Information sessions will cover what you can expect if you apply for an alternative break trip, including service projects, housing accommodations, transportation details, and more. Information about the application process, fundraising and scholarship opportunities, and pre-trip orientation meetings will also be discussed.

Additional information can be found on the CCE website.
