Governor Hochul on January 25 directed all SUNY schools to cease their practice of withholding the transcripts of students with outstanding financial obligations. As a result, the Registrar's Office, in consultation with other offices across campus, has removed the “transcript” element from most holds being used on campus. 

It is important to note that other elements of the holds, such as restriction to registration, will not be affected.
