United Way 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge

Members of the Buffalo State College and Western New York communities are invited to participate in the United Way’s 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge. This experience is an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of how inequity and racism affect our lives and community and provide an opportunity for a commitment to deepening our understanding of racism, bias, and other social inequities.

Daily topics for learning and reflection will be sent to your email each day during the 21-day challenge, which will include recommended articles, videos, podcasts, reflections, and more.

The 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge has been implemented in dozens of United Way communities across the country. To localize the content and ensure that it relates to the Western New York community, over 60 community partners proposed, vetted, and selected the content that will be used in this regional challenge.

The challenge is expected to launch in mid-June to coincide with Juneteenth. To participate, please complete the sign-up form.
