Ways to Help during the Coronavirus Outbreak: Goodwill of WNY

The Civic and Community Engagement Office is providing information about ways faculty, staff, and students can be active citizens and support our community during the coronavirus pandemic.

Donate to Goodwill of Western New York. Attended donation trailer sites found in many Tops Markets parking lots are still closed; however, attended donation centers at Goodwill’s retail stores (except for the Hamburg location at 6000 South Park Avenue) are now open during store hours, 10:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., seven days a week. (Please do not donate when the attended donation centers are closed.) Goodwill is offering two no-contact ways to donate. Donors can “pop the trunk” and an attendant will remove donations from their vehicle, or donors may choose to self-serve and place their gently used, sellable items into a bin provided by the attendant. Goodwill requests that donors be mindful of what it can accept and place on its sales floors and what it cannot accept. Please refer to agency donation guidelines on the Goodwill website.
