Professional Development Day: 'Discover the Leader in YOU!' May 25

Buffalo State faculty and staff members are invited to attend the daylong professional development conference "Discover the Leader in YOU!" on Thursday, May 25, at Finger Lakes Community College in Victor, New York. The $40 registration fee includes coffee and lunch. Please register on the event website.

8:30–9:00 a.m. Coffee and registration

9:00–9:50 a.m. Ice-breakers and networking opportunities

10:00–11:50 a.m. Concurrent sessions

Noon–1:15 p.m. Lunch with keynote speaker Kristina Lantzky-Eaton, interim provost and vice president for academic affairs at Hilbert College

Hear from Dr. Lantzky-Eaton about the realities of leaving your comfort zone and leaping into a key administrative role. She will share her insight into the decision to take on a new challenge and the processes and surprises involved in making this faculty-to-administration transition.

1:20–3:00 p.m. Concurrent sessions

3:00–4:00 p.m. Wrap-up and happy walk on the outdoor trails (bring sneakers!)
