Garman Art Conservation Department Featured on WNED's 'Let's Go!'

Art cons student working on a painting

The Garman Art Conservation Department is excited to participate in WNED’s Let’s Go! program. Follow the host, Chrisena Ricci, as she explores our department, talking to faculty and students about their unique studies. Discover how conservators historically have used science and art to restore iconic works, like Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper.

From hands-on restoration techniques to high-tech tools that reveal hidden secrets within artworks, unearth the magic of preserving our cultural heritage in this special episode. Both the Burchfield Penney Art Center and the Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium have also been featured on Let's Go, and we are happy to be a part of this great series.
