Buffalo State senior Liam Glynn, a wood/furniture design major, earned second place (merit award) in the 2022 International Woodworking Fair’s Design Emphasis Student Furniture Competition, held in Atlanta, Georgia, August 23–26. Glynn (pictured) submitted two entries to the Case Goods category. Senior wood/furniture design major Litian Li, who submitted entries for the Commercial/Office/Hospitality Furniture and Accent Furniture/Accent Tables categories, was also named a finalist. Both students have studied under Sunhwa Kim, associate professor of art and design.
