The Online Teaching: Technology and Educational Resources (OTTER) Institute, hosted by the SUNY Center for Professional Development (CPD), is an opportunity for online practitioners, regardless of teaching modality or experience, to learn more about online education’s innovations, trends, and challenges.
Registration is required for the OTTER Institute 2025.

OTTER Day 7: Tuesday, August 19, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Communicating effectively: creating an inclusive environment for communicating with students.
OTTER Day 8: Wednesday, August 20, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Challenging conversations: moderating challenging discussions (online or f2f) with students.
OTTER Day 9: Thursday, August 21, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Ready for the new semester: a checklist and strategies to be prepared for the start of the new semester.
