Erin Barr, assistant professor of history and social studies education, will present “We Are Aiding to Sustain a Revolution” on Thursday, November 21, at 7:00 p.m. at the Buffalo Irish Center, 245 Abbott Road, Buffalo. The lecture addresses the neglected and untold stories of Irish American women’s involvement in politics during the nineteenth century. This is a free community event open to all, and presents an opportunity to connect Buffalo’s past to its present through shared history.
