The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive on Tuesday, January 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the LoRusso Alumni and Visitor Center. As we look ahead to Black History Month, it is important to recognize the need that patients with sickle cell anemia have for life-saving blood. Some patients can need up to 100 units of blood a year! All donors will receive a $20 Amazon gift card by email, plus a Red Cross T-shirt. Call (800) RED-CROSS or visit the ARC website to schedule an appointment or to learn more. Please also note that the American Red Cross is currently experiencing a national emergency blood shortage. All blood types are needed.
