In December, the Provost’s AI Task Force administered a campus‑wide survey to better understand how faculty and staff are engaging with artificial intelligence (AI) tools, their perspectives on the role of AI in higher education, and any challenges that may affect adoption.

Nearly 100 faculty and staff members participated in the survey. The insights gathered from the survey, along with feedback from upcoming AI‑focused discussions with the campus community, will help guide our efforts to integrate AI in ways that uphold our institutional values of integrity, transparency, inclusivity, and privacy, while also supporting innovation and academic excellence.
