Campus to Move to Microsoft Teams Phone
In collaboration with the SUNY Digital Transformation Project (DTP), Buffalo State will be transitioning our phone services to the Microsoft Teams Phone platform with AudioCodes service. We have assembled a campus project team and are working with individuals from the SUNY DTP and their contracted vendor(s) for this initiative.
We would like to invite each faculty and staff member on campus to complete this simple survey to help us understand which type of phone is preferred for equipment ordering purposes. The survey is brief and won't take more than a minute or two of your time, so please provide your feedback by February 6.
This project is still in the planning phase, and we anticipate it taking approximately one year from start to finish, so there is no immediate impact to services or equipment for you to anticipate. This announcement is simply to make you aware of the changes that will be coming and to solicit your feedback on preferred types of phones.
