Garman Art Conservation Department Clinic: Limited Appointments Available

Posted:

The Garman Art Conservation Department is hosting its annual Conservation Clinic, where faculty and students review potential projects from the public, local historical organizations, and museums for possible conservation treatment. This year, a limited number of appointments are available for objects only, and we are pleased to extend this opportunity to the campus community. Typical objects include ceramics, wood, glass, and archaeological materials. The Clinic will take place on the morning of Friday, September 26, and participation is by appointment only.

If you have an object in need of conservation treatment, please contact our secretary at artcon@buffalostate.edu to schedule an appointment. When reaching out, include details about the object as well as clear photographs. If your object is accepted for conservation treatment, please note that associated fees will apply and the completion timeframe is typically two to three years.
