The Buffalo State Theater Department and Casting Hall Productions present It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play in Warren Enters Theatre, Upton Hall. Adapted by Joe Landry. Music and musical arrangements by Kevin Connors.

This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble who brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. 

Directed by Jennifer Toohey, associate professor of theater and director of women, gender and sexuality studies. Featuring student actors: Phoebe Auquier, Alisha Avila, Connor Johnson, Sage Lambie, Jaiden Morey, Alvaro Rodriguez, Shawn Smith, Kimana-Lee Tomlinson. Special cameo appearance by Atasha James, winner of the Bengala 2025 auction for a walk-on role. Student stage manager: Myshawn Sikes; student assistant stage manager: Alvaro Rodriguez.
