The Buffalo State University community is saddened by the death of Lenore Levy, ’59, retired student teaching coordinator in the Elementary Education and Reading Department, who died August 28, 2025. Ms. Levy joined the campus in 1988 and retired in 2006. She is survived by her children, Robert Levy, David (Eva) Levy, and Jane (William) Goodman; and grandchildren, Meredith, Victoria, Ben, Ethan, Benjamin, Naomi, Joel, and Eli. A funeral service was held August 31 at Congregation Shir Shalom in Williamsville, and Shiva was held following the interment at Ms. Levy’s residence. More information is available online.
