Sankofa Conference Buffalo: February 28
Join us at the Sankofa Conference Buffalo on Saturday, February 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts (BPS 192), 450 Masten Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14209, where we'll celebrate our roots, learn from the past, and build a brighter future together! Lunch will be provided.
The Sankofa Conference Buffalo is more than just an educational event; it is a call to embrace the full spectrum of Black history and its ongoing influence on the world. The conference theme is, "KnowThyself: A Call to the Diaspora." Through learning and dialogue, attendees are encouraged to reflect on these narratives and engage actively in promoting a more diverse understanding of history.
