Spring Student Showcase Applications Open
Applications are now open for student participation in the Spring Student Showcase on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. A draft schedule of the showcase is available on the Experiential Learning website.
The 28th annual Student Research and Creativity Conference (SRCC) will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Science and Mathematics Complex (SAMC), featuring poster sessions in the atrium and oral presentations in nearby classrooms. The SRCC application, to be submitted by students and approved by a faculty or staff mentor, is open through April 3.
The Graduate Research Fair, sponsored by the Graduate Student Association, is also accepting applications from graduate students for poster presentations and scholarly discussion sessions until April 3. On May 6, the event will begin at 4:00 p.m. in Caudell Hall and it will include a reception catered by Buffalo State hospitality students and a 3-Minute Thesis competition open to both graduate and undergraduate students.
Finally, faculty, staff, and programs interested in having students participate in the Experiential Learning Fair in E. H. Butler Library on the afternoon of May 6 should contact Denise Harris in the Career and Professional Education Center (CAPE) at harrisdm@buffalostate.edu.
Anyone interested in the 3-Minute Thesis competition should contact Gehan Senthinathan at senthig@buffalostate.edu. For more general questions, contact M. Scott Goodman at goodmams@buffalostate.edu or Carolyn Guzski at guzskic@buffalostate.edu. We look forward to highlighting the outstanding work of our students and celebrating academic excellence at Buffalo State.
