The School of Education is once again gearing up for Beyond and Back on Tuesday, April 18, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM in the Campbell Student Union Assembly Halls. This annual event, hosted by the Michael and Nancy Chicola International Professional Development Schools (IPDS) Consortium, brings full circle all the global and service learning activities completed by our students and faculty—sharing what has been done and what is possible for those interested in doing more.

Please encourage students and colleagues to attend.

The event will include a panel discussion by IPDS alumni who have participated in short-term, student-teaching, and experienced educator international programs. Attendees will also have a chance to speak with alumni and program leaders during the “passport promenade” to hear personal reflections and learn about upcoming programs. Beyond and Back is open to everyone. No registration required. Please email your class information to Tamar Horstman-Riphahn, executive assistant to the dean, and we’ll provide a sign-in sheet for those who wish to offer extra credit.
