Buffalo State Senate
Upcoming Events to Share Ideas as University Welcomes Incoming President
From the Chair of the Faculty and Staff Welfare Committee
The Buffalo State Senate's Faculty and Staff Welfare Committee seeks your input as we prepare to welcome our incoming president this summer. What does our campus do well that we need to keep doing in the future? What do you think our priorities should be as we look ahead in the next five years? How can we improve the Buffalo State experience for our faculty, staff, and students? What else would you like the new president to know about our goals and aspirations for the university’s future?
There will be three events open to all students, staff, and faculty to share your ideas:
- Tuesday, April 14, 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Butler 210
- Wednesday, April 15, 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in Butler 210
- Wednesday, April 15, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Butler 210 (this session will include a pizza party)
In conjunction with the events, students from our university radio station, WBNY, will be at the events and asking about participants’ hopes and goals for Buffalo State. These interviews will eventually become a radio program that shares our community’s ideas.
By contributing your ideas, you can help communicate our campus community’s goals for our university’s future. Come join the conversation and make sure your ideas for our future are included and shared with our new president.
Please RSVP for the event so we can plan for everyone’s contributions. You can also contact Mary Beth Sullivan at sullivme@buffalostate.edu with any questions or to get involved in the process.
