Call for Proposals - AFP 2021: Believe. Inspire. Achieve.

The Anne Frank Project announces a call for proposals for AFP 2021: Believe. Inspire. Achieve., the 13th annual social justice festival, to be held October 12–14 in a hybrid format (subject to SUNY COVID mandates). AFP’s annual social justice festival is an experiential exchange of ideas with a focus on processing theory into practice. We share diverse performances, workshops, and exhibits that actively engage participants in kinesthetic learning opportunities that connect to the festival's theme, AFP's mission, and the story of Anne Frank.

AFP 2021: Believe. Inspire. Achieve.
AFP 2021 supports the theme for the 150th anniversary of Buffalo State College: “Believe. Inspire. Achieve.” These three words symbolize the storyline of our students’ journey through college, and the people and experiences that strengthen them. The workshops, artwork, and speakers at AFP 2021 will focus this storyline through the lens of social justice: Who or what pushes us toward excellence amidst the multiple odds and obstacles against us? This year’s festival seeks multidisciplinary workshops and artworks that define and expose the Belief and Inspiration required to Achieve an improved world.

Proposals are due by Thursday, July 1. For more information about Buffalo State College’s Anne Frank Project, please visit the AFP website.

Please e-mail Eve Everette, assistant director of AFP, with questions.
