The Buffalo State University Sustainability Committee invites the campus community to attend the annual Earth Day and Arbor Day Environmental Fair on Tuesday, April 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union Lobby.

Come celebrate Buffalo State University’s Maud Gordon Holmes Arboretum, as it has earned recognition for its fourth year in a row as a 2025 Tree Campus Higher Education university campus.

See what the campus and the Grant/Amherst neighborhoods are doing to make our campus and the surrounding area more environmentally sustainable. Learn how the campus trees in the Maud Gordon Holmes Arboretum and throughout the city of Buffalo are instrumental in the health of the local ecology, storm water management, and to the aesthetics of our campus and surrounding neighborhoods.

Explore what you can do as an individual to help with this great cause. There will be plenty of information tables to visit, giveaways, and fun activities.
